Michael V. Coratolo is a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1977, specializing in the placement of commercial real estate financing including first & second mortgages, acquisition and construction financing. Mr. Coratolo has arranged financing for properties nationwide with a concentration in the Greater New York Metropolitan area, specializing in apartment and office buildings, shopping centers, management, sale and conversion of commercial real estate over the past 39 years.
From 1977 to 1989, Coratolo organized and managed the commercial real estate mortgage department for two full service real estate brokerage firms located in midtown Manhattan. One of the companies, under Mr. Coratolo's direction & management, grew from two to over thirty mortgage specialists in a 5-year period. Emphasis during the late 1970's to mid 1980's was in construction/permanent combination financing, mostly for "commercial loft" to residential cooperative apartments, usually with retail stores, medical or other professional use.
From 1989 to Present, Michael V. Coratolo and his team of experts continue to specialize in commercial real estate financing. Our company consists of 8 loan originators and placers, with a networking association with over 100 real estate professionals in the industry. During the last 25 years, Coratolo has bought and sold over 50 commercial and residential properties throughout the Tri-State area of New York, broadening our networking platform. As a property owner, we have the ability to see each loan as if it were for ourselves, broadening our prespective to arrange and negotiate not just interest rates, but crucial terms to benefit our clients throughout the entire term of their mortgage.
